Farewell and Thank You to the Rev’d Thomi Glover
On Sunday September 29, we bid farewell and good wishes to Rev’d Thomi Glover and her husband, John (and of course their faithful four-legged assistant ‘Ginger’).
Thomi has retired after serving as Priest Associate for St. Margaret’s on Galiano which is part of the ‘two-point’ Parish of St.Mary’s on Mayne and St. Margaret’s on Galiano, overseen by the Rev’d Blair Haggart.
Thomi and John have become part of the fabric of our community over the five (approximately )years of their service here. Not only leading church services, and visiting parish members both at home and in hospital, but attending Book Clubs, Saturday Markets, Fiesta, Concerts and many other community events.
Living on Mayne Island has meant many trips through and across the Pass. Now they’ll enjoy fewer of those and more of the richness of life on Mayne, while continuing the their various involvements in life coaching, and teaching that are so much part of their lives.
We wish Thomi and John every blessing in their transition, and in the years to come.
